Nathan Miller possède les rues d'Union City. Un détective voyou protégé par un établissement corrompu - sa règle est absolue. Mais rien n'est éternel.

Quelqu'un l'a trahi et maintenant la sensation du blog Alexis King sait des choses qu'elle ne devrait pas savoir. En s'en prenant à Nathan, elle menace son autorité et donne à l'élite l'occasion de douter de sa valeur.

Pour protéger son règne, Nathan doit faire taire son traître avant qu'Alexis n'apprenne assez pour le renverser. Mais il n'est plus la seule chose à craindre dans le bas-ventre pourri de 2035. Sa recherche révèle un mal qui s'attaque aux personnes déplacées au-delà du mur de la ville, faisant de Nathan la prochaine cible.

J'ai été de suite attiré par la couverture, on y voit Nathan de profil avec la ville d'Union City dans son visage.

L'histoire se déroule en 2035 où Nathan possède les rues d'Union-City, sauf que quelqu'un l'a trahi et s'en prend à lui en menaçant son autorité. Pour se protéger il va devoir faire taire le traitre. Il va découvrir qu'au delà du mur ce traitre s'attaque aux gens.

J'ai adoré ce premier tome si captivant et rempli de suspens et rebondissements. J'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire et aux personnages, vraiment hâte de lire la suite.

I was immediately attracted to the blanket, you can see Nathan in profile with the city of Union City in his face.

The story takes place in 2035 when Nathan owns the streets of Union-City, except that someone betrayed him and attacked him by threatening his authority. To protect himself, he'll have to silence the traitor. He will discover that beyond the wall this traitor attacks people.

I loved this first volume so captivating and full of suspense and twists and turns. I immediately became hooked on the story and the characters, really looking forward to reading the book two.
