Quelques années plus tard, deux enfants disparaissent à nouveau, rappelant à Wendy de sombres souvenirs. Alors qu'elle rentre chez elle par une route sombre à travers bois, au volant de son pick-up, une forme gisant sur la chaussée l'oblige à s'arrêter. Il s'agit d'un jeune garçon qui prétend connaitre Wendy et pourrait bien être la clé du mystère entourant toutes ces disparitions d'enfants.
Il s'appelle Peter !

Mon avis :

Depuis le temps que je voulais lire ce livre, voilà qui est fait, un vrai coup de cœur, je suis un grand fan de contes revisités.

L'histoire se déroule dans la ville d'Astoria où des enfants disparaissent, tout porte à croire que Wendy serait dans le coup.

Car cinq ans auparavant elle à disparu avec ses frères et quelques mois plus tard, elle seule sera retrouvée. 

Bien des années  plus tard, deux enfants disparaissent, Wendy refoule ses souvenirs. Lorsqu'un soir en rentrant chez elle aux abord des bois elle s'arrête et tombe sur Peter qui la connaît très bien et il est la clé du mystère des enfants disparus.

Plus j'avançais dans l'histoire plus j'avais envie de découvrir la fin tellement qu'avec ce conte revisité l'auteur m'a conquis, une plume si addictive qu'on a pas envie de lâcher le livre tant que le final n'est pas là. 

Si vous aimez les contes revisités, la fantasy, la romance, le fantastique je ne peux que vous recommander ce livre.

My mind :

I've been wanting to read this book for ages, and now it's here, a real "coup de cœur", as I'm a big fan of revisited fairy tales.

The story takes place in the town of Astoria, where children are disappearing, and there's every reason to believe that Wendy is involved.

Five years ago, she disappeared with her brothers, and a few months later, she alone was found. 

Many years later, two children disappear, and Wendy represses her memories. One evening, on her way home from the woods, she stops and meets Peter, who knows her very well and holds the key to the mystery of the missing children.

The further I got into the story, the more I wanted to find out the ending, so much so that the author has won me over with this tale revisited in such an addictive way that you don't want to let go of the book until the end. 

If you like tales revisited, fantasy, romance and the fantastic, I can only recommend this book.
