L'écriture a toujours été une passion pour Frédérique Molay, auteure du best-seller international La septième femme. Diplômée de la prestigieuse Science Po, elle a débuté sa carrière en politique et dans l'administration française. Elle a été chef de cabinet de l'adjoint au maire de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, puis élue au conseil municipal de Saône-et-Loire. Pendant ce temps, elle passait ses nuits à se passionner pour l'écriture qu'elle avait nourrie depuis qu'elle avait écrit son premier roman à l'âge de onze ans. Après La 7e femme a pris la France d'assaut, Frédérique Molay a consacré sa vie à l'écriture et à l'éducation de ses trois enfants. Mon avis :

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Thomas & Mercer (Amazon publishing France) et le site Netgalley qui m'ont permis de lire ce coup de cœur.

Au tout début j'ai peiné à accrocher à l'histoire mais au final ouahhh un vrai coup de cœur pour ce livre, mon premier de cette auteure qui à du talent avec sa plume addictive. Une histoire prenante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. Hâte de lire la suite car ce livre se termine sur un cliffhanger.

L'histoire se déroule à Paris lors d'un été caniculaire où une série de meurtres basés autour d'une légende urbaine effraient tout le monde.

On y retrouve Nico Sirky commissaire qui depuis les attentats avec ses collègues est sous tension surtout que lorsqu'une jeune fille est enlevée tout bascule. Le meurtrier étant très intelligent et pervers cela va être difficile de le coincer et avec une vieille affaire qui rattrape le commissaire il va falloir qu'il s'accroche pour arrêter cet assassin.

Hâte de lire les autres livres de cette auteure qui jusque là je ne connaissait pas mais grâce à cette lecture, cela m'a donner envie de lire tous ses livres.

At the very beginning I struggled to hang on to the story but in the end ouahhhh a real crush for this book, my first of this author who has talent with her addictive pen. An engaging, addictive story, full of suspense and twists and turns with engaging characters. Hurry to read on because this book ends with a cliffhanger.

The story takes place in Paris during a scorching summer when a series of murders based on an urban legend frightened everyone.

There is Nico Sirky, Commissioner, who since the attacks with his colleagues has been under tension, especially when a young girl is kidnapped and tipped over. The murderer being very smart and perverse it's going to be difficult to catch him and with an old case catching up with the commissioner he's going to have to hang on to stop this murderer.

I can't wait to read the other books of this author who until then I didn't know, but thanks to this reading, it made me want to read all her books.
