On apprend que la petite Ellie a disparue, la police n'a jamais retrouvé son corps ni le ou la coupable. Jusqu'au jour où elle va rencontrer Floyd, un père célibataire ayant une petite fille Poppie eet la son passé va la rattrapée, Poppie ressemble à Ellie.

Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'avais hâte de le lire, j'ai trouvé l'histoire captivante, émouvante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. Hâte de découvrir d'autres livres de cette auteure qui à une plume addictive.

We learn that little Ellie has disappeared, the police have never found her body or the culprit. Until the day she meets Floyd, a single father with a little girl Poppie and her past will catch up with her, Poppie looks like Ellie.

A book read in one go, I was so eager to read it, I found the story captivating, moving, full of suspense and twists and turns with engaging characters. Looking forward to discovering more books from this author who has an addictive pen.
