Mon avis :

Depuis le temps que je voulais commencer cette saga, voilà qui est fait, je ne connaissais pas la plume de l'auteure, mais quel coup de cœur ce premier livre dès le départ l'auteure nous entraîne dans l'histoire avec sa plume si addictive.

Tout commence lorsque Elsie, jeune française avec sa grand mère Granny décident du jour au lendemain de tout plaquer pour aller vivre en Ecosse dans un vieux cottage écossais. Le bonheur n'est pas loin, sauf que Greig Macdonald, un voisin Laird et l'Alpha des Ferrale un des plus puissant des cinq Royaumes vont leur mener la vie dure. Elles vont découvrir un monde semé d'embûches et en même temps fascinant. Elsie la jeune femme aimant le rock va voir un monde qu'elle n'était pas prête à voir entre métamorphes, créatures mythiques. Elle semble être attirée par le loup dangereux et ce n'est que le début.

J'ai de suite été plonger dans l'histoire si prenante, addictive, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages si attachants. Hâte de découvrir la suite.

Si vous aimez les métamorphes, créatures mythiques, le tout avec une histoire d'amour je ne peux que vous recommander ce livre et la série qui va être un coup de cœur je pense.

My mind :

I've been wanting to start this saga for ages, and now I have. I wasn't familiar with the author's style, but what a delight this first book is, right from the start the author draws us into the story with her addictive style.

It all begins when Elsie, a young Frenchwoman, and her grandmother Granny decide overnight to leave everything behind and move to Scotland to live in an old Scottish cottage. Happiness is just around the corner, except that Greig Macdonald, a neighboring Laird and the Alpha des Ferrale, one of the most powerful of the Five Kingdoms, are going to give them a hard time. They're about to discover a world full of pitfalls, but fascinating at the same time. Elsie, the rock-loving young woman, is about to see a world she wasn't ready for, with shapeshifters and mythical creatures. She seems to be drawn to the dangerous wolf, and that's just the beginning.

I was immediately immersed in this gripping, addictive, captivating story, full of suspense and twists and turns, with such endearing characters. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

If you like shapeshifters, mythical creatures, all with a love story, I can only recommend this book and the series, which I think will be a favorite.
