My mind

I've been wanting to get back into English by reading vo books for ages, and I had a great time with the characters.

It all begins when, on the eve of her death, Nel is in contact with her sister Julia, who hasn't returned the call.

Except that her body is about to be found in the river near Beckford and Julia stresses to return to the place where she lived as a child.

Why is she afraid? What's more, she'll have to look after her teenage niece, whom she doesn't know.

What happened to Nel?

A read I particularly enjoyed.

If you like thrillers, family secrets and investigations, if you liked “La fille du train”, you'll love this book.

Mon avis

Depuis le temps que je voulais me remettre à l'anglais en lisant des livres vo, j'ai passé un agréable moment en compagnie des personnages.

Tout commence lorsque la veille de son décès Nel est en contact avec sa sœur Julia qui n'a pas répondu à l'appel.

Sauf que son corps va être retrouvé dans la rivière près de Beckford et Julia stress de revenir sur les lieux où elle à vécu étant enfant.

Pourquoi à t-elle peur? En plus elle va devoir s'occuper de sa nièce adolescente qu'elle ne connaît pas.

Qu'est il arrivé à Nel?

Une lecture que j'ai particulièrement adoré.
