Mon avis

Que de plaisir de me replonger dans cette série coup de cœur tellement j'adore la plume si addictive de l'auteure.

On y retrouve Zarrah une guerrière et héritière d'un empire qui est certaine, la famille Veliant à tuer sa mère et sa vengeance sera rude.

Entre Maridrina et Valcotta c'est la guerre sans fin depuis pas mal voire trop de temps en tuant des milliers de gens et surtout en laissant des orphelins. Zarrah va se voir commander la cité de Nerastis, elle va en profiter pour mettre sa vengeance en route en détruisant Maridrina et surtout tuer leur prince qui les diriges.

Sauf que tout ne vas pas se passer comme prévu, elle va rencontrer un beau Maridrinien avec qui chaque nuit en sa présence va se poser des questions sur cette guerre sans fin.

Sauf qu'elle va vite être démasquée et n'aura que deux choix faire la paix ou se battre.

Un troisième tome au delà de mes attentes, j'ai tellement adoré que j'ai hâte de découvrir la suite.

Vous aimez la romantasy, la new romance, la double identité, les amours interdits c'est ce livre, cette série qu'il faut lire.

My mind

It was such a pleasure to dive back into this favorite series, as I adore the author's addictive writing style.

We meet Zarrah, a warrior and heiress to an empire who is certain the Veliant family killed her mother, and her vengeance will be harsh.

Maridrina and Valcotta have been at war for too long, killing thousands of people and leaving orphans. Zarrah is about to take command of the city of Nerastis, and she's going to take advantage of the situation to set her revenge in motion by destroying Maridrina and, above all, killing the prince who runs it.

But all doesn't go according to plan: she meets a handsome Maridrinian with whom she wonders about this endless war every night she's with him.

But she'll soon be unmasked and left with only two choices: make peace or fight.

A third volume that exceeded my expectations, I loved it so much I can't wait to find out what happens next.

If you like romance, new romance, double identities and forbidden love, this is the book to read.
