Mon avis

J'avais adoré le premier livre de la série, celui-là encore plus.

Cette fois-ci on y retrouve Katria qui ne souhaite jamais tombée amoureuse ayant assez souffert en amour, sauf qu'elle va se retrouver mariée de force au mystérieux seigneur Fenwood tout en menant sa vie comme elle veux sans avoir de sentiments.

Sauf que son époux ne lui facilite pas les choses, elle va devoir se plier aux règles malgré les cris qu'elle entend la nuit et pour couronner le tout elle va être attaquée par une créature Faé.

Elle va surprendre un rituel auquel elle n'aurait jamais du assister et va se retrouver propulsée dans le mystérieux Midscape avec un pouvoir qui n'est pas à elle.

Son attirance envers son mari va s'agrandir et elle va devoir tout faire pour s'en sortir malgré ce fameux roi qui cherche à voler sa magie, l'héritage de son mari la légendaire couronne de verre.

Une agréable lecture, j'ai passé de bons moments en compagnie des personnages si attachants.

J'adore tellement la plume de l'auteure que j'ai hâte de continuer la série.

Vous aimez la romantasy, la fantaisie, la romance, les mariages arrangés c'est ce livre qu'il faut lire.

My mind

I loved the first book in the series, this one even more.

This time we meet Katria, who never wanted to fall in love, having suffered enough in love, except that she's going to find herself married by force to the mysterious Lord Fenwood, living her life as she pleases with no feelings.

But her husband doesn't make things easy for her, so she has to abide by the rules despite the screams she hears at night, and to top it all off she's attacked by a Fae creature.

She overhears a ritual she should never have witnessed, and finds herself propelled into the mysterious Midscape with a power that is not hers.

Her attraction to her husband will grow and she'll have to do everything in her power to survive, despite the notorious king who seeks to steal her magic, her husband's legacy and the legendary glass crown.

An enjoyable read, I had a great time in the company of such endearing characters.

I love the author's writing so much that I can't wait to continue the series.

If you like romance, fantasy and arranged marriages, this is the book for you.
