Romancière marseillaise engagée, Sem Chastel reverse une partie de ses droits à des associations. Connue sur les réseaux sociaux Instagram et TikTok sous le nom de @la_dys_qui_lit, sa vie est aujourd’hui stable et paisible, mais son parcours n’a pas été de tout repos. Phobique scolaire depuis toujours, diagnostiquée dyslexique et dysorthographique, victime de harcèlement au collège, ce n’est que par miracle qu’elle parvient à obtenir son Baccalauréat en 2012. Elle s’épanouit désormais dans son travail de technicienne de laboratoire dans un lycée. Enfant des années 90, c’est grâce à la tétralogie Twilight de Stephenie Meyer qu’elle découvre que la lecture n’est pas toujours une torture, mais peut au contraire, être un véritable plaisir. Utilisant l’écriture comme sa thérapie et son exutoire, elle commence à raconter ses premières histoires avant même de savoir tenir un stylo. Si ses goûts pour ses lectures sont éclectiques, son domaine de prédilection reste les romances inspirées et inspirantes sous toutes leurs formes. Son premier roman, Lagoon Eyes, nous dévoile une histoire d’amour touchante, moderne et voluptueuse.

Mon avis

Mon tout premier livre de l'auteure et je peux vous dire que ça ne sera pas le dernier tellement ma lecture à été un énorme coup de cœur.

On y retrouve Alexandre qui se trouve en dernière année au lycée. Quant à Achille, le bel Achille, c'est un peu le prince de l'école, sportif, musclé, grand il est adoré partout où il passe.

Alexandre la sait il ne fait pas le poids, son ex Sylvianna lui à bien montré en le plaquant.

Il peine à y croire quand Achille lui propose son aide, est ce un piège?

Alexandre s'en remet pas que en fréquentant Achille il va tomber sur des secrets bien enfouis qui se déroulent sur le lycée.

Énorme coup de cœur pour ce livre où je me suis mis de suite dans la peau d'Alexandre, qu'est ce que j'aurais bien aimé avoir son histoire au lycée pour mettre la main sur ce qui c'est déroulé dans le livre.

A committed novelist from Marseilles, Sem Chastel donates part of her royalties to associations. As a child of the 90s, it was thanks to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight tetralogy that she discovered that reading is not always torture, but can, on the contrary, be a real pleasure. My very first book by the author, and I can tell you that it won't be my last, so much so that I fell in love with it.

I fell in love with this book and immediately put myself in Alexandre's shoes. I really wish I'd had his story in high school so I could get to the bottom of what happened in the book.
