Mon avis

Depuis le temps que j'attendais de lire la suite des émeraudes de Satan que j'ai adoré, celui là encore plus.

L'histoire se déroule sur deux époques, tout commence en 1135 où en France l'Abbé Suger construit l'Abbaye de Saint-Denis, pendant les travaux il cache un manuscrit dans les fondations.

De nos jours on y retrouve le père Kaminsky toujours agent du service secret du Vatican qui à pour mission de retrouver un codex. Des lacs sacrés en passant par Paris il va être amené à faire des choix, se mettre en danger.

Énorme coup de cœur pour ce deuxième, j'espère qu'il y aura une suite.

My mind

I've been waiting to read the sequel to Satan's Emeralds, which I loved, and this one even more so.

The story unfolds over two eras, beginning in 1135 when Abbé Suger builds the Abbey of Saint-Denis in France, and hides a manuscript in the foundations during the construction work.

Today, Father Kaminsky, still an agent of the Vatican secret service, is on a mission to find a codex. From the sacred lakes to Paris, he'll have to make choices and put himself in danger.

I love this second book and hope there will be a sequel.
