Mon avis

Depuis le temps que je voulais commencer cette série, l'ayant vu jusqu'à la saison 3 à la télé et ayant adoré j'avais envie de commencer les livres, j'ai adoré ce premier tome, cela me donne envie de retourner en Italie.

L'histoire se déroule à Naples dans les années 1950 où deux amies, Elena et Lila habitent un quartier défavorisé, elles sont douées dans les études, mais ce n'est pas ce qu'elle préfèrent faire après. Lila abandonne l'école pour travailler avec sa famille, quant à Elena elle veux aller au collège et après au lycée sur les conseils de son institutrice. Durant l'histoire les deux filles vont évoluer en s'entraidant ou en se chamaillant l'une et l'autre. 

L'auteure nous entraîne dans un formidable voyage à Naples et en Italie dans les année 1950 avec brio.

L'amie prodigieuse c'est le portrait de deux héroïnes inoubliables et l'auteure le fait avec passion et tendresse. 

Si vous aimez l'Italie des années 1950, Naples, l'amitié entre deux adolescentes c'est ce livre qu'il faut lire, hâte de découvrir la suite.

My mind

I've been wanting to start this series for a long time, having seen it up to season 3 on TV and loved it, I wanted to start the books, I loved this first volume, it makes me want to go back to Italy.

The story takes place in Naples in the 1950s, where two friends, Elena and Lila, live in an underprivileged neighborhood. They're academically gifted, but it's not what they want to do after school. Lila drops out of school to work with her family, while Elena wants to go to middle school and then high school on the advice of her teacher. Over the course of the story, the two girls evolve, helping and bickering with each other. 

The author brilliantly takes us on a wonderful journey to Naples and Italy in the 1950s.

L'amie prodigieuse is the portrait of two unforgettable heroines, and the author does it with passion and tenderness. 

If you love Italy in the 1950s, Naples and the friendship between two teenage girls, this is the book to read, and you can't wait to find out what happens next.
