Reading and writing have been part of her daily life since she was a child.
However, it was not until after she graduated as a psychologist that she completed my first novel. "Les maux contraires" is the result of months of passionate work.
Transmitting emotions to the reader is her primary objective.
And when she sits in front of her computer and transcribes into words the images that scroll through her head, she has the delightful impression of making her dreams come alive...
Every morning, Erden milks the mares and goats in the herd to make cheese, cream and yogurt to feed his family.
Every morning, Max takes the metro to go to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris to learn the profession of musician-sound engineer.
Max and Erden do not know each other. For good reason: seven thousand kilometers separate France from Mongolia. And when Max lives in the beautiful Parisian districts, Erden moves his nomadic camp several times a year.
Their culture is as opposed as their way of life.
Yet, despite their differences, Max and Erden share the same dream: to do something different than what is expected of them.
What if the seven thousand kilometers were to disappear tomorrow?
"A nugget of travel and existential questioning set against a backdrop of romance." @plume_en_main
I want to thank the author who contacted me to read her book, I was immediately immersed in this beautiful story between Erden and Max. A real favorite and a very nice discovery.
We find Erden who every morning has to milk the mares and goats to make yogurt and cheese.
As for Max, his daily routine is to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique to become a sound engineer.
They don't know each other, seven thousand kilometers separate them, he lives in the beautiful districts of Paris and she often moves from her nomadic camp in Mongolia.
Everything opposes them, even their lifestyle.
Yet the same dream haunts them, to do something different from what is expected of them.
What I liked about this book :
- the beautiful book cover;
- the very endearing characters I spent a pleasant moment with them;
- the suspense, the twists;
- the emotion throughout the book, how not to have tears in my eyes at certain passages.
If you like this kind of book where two people separated by a long distance, that everything opposes and meet, the emotion is this book that you must read.
