Résumé :

Timothée vit dans une mégalopole à la pointe de la technologie avec son beau-père et sa mère. C’est un étudiant modèle à l’Université Prima, mais il rêve de grands espaces. Passionné de planche à voile solaire comme son père disparu, il file dans les rues de son quartier, jusqu’au jour où il est arrêté par la police d’élite de la ville qui le ramène chez lui. Un soir, la bibliothécaire prête à Timothée un ouvrage aux pages vierges dont la couverture est scellée. Alors que d’étranges événements se produisent et que son pendentif se met à briller à proximité du livre, Timothée se fait enlever par une mystérieuse organisation déterminée à percer le secret de l’ouvrage. En effet, il indique des coordonnées qui permettent à celui qui en est digne de se rendre à Ivaldia, un monde bâti sur trois niveaux soutenus par le Pilier en son centre. Un principe majeur et mystérieux régit la vie des Ivaldiens : le Sel. Qu’est-ce qu’Ivaldia ? Pourquoi Timothée est-il autorisé à y aller ? Où est son père ? Les Séparés d’Ivaldia est une épopée de science-fiction et de fantasy qui aborde de nombreuses questions de société comme l’écologie, les questions de genre, la discrimination, la recherche d’un sens à sa vie, le deuil de l’enfance.

Je tiens à remercier l'auteur pour m'avoir permis de lire son livre.

On y retrouve Timothée vivant dans une mégalopole où la technologie est à son summum. Il vit avec son beau-père et sa mère. Il étudie à l'université de Prima, c'est un passionné comme son père disparu de planche à voile solaire où il en fait dans les rues, sauf qu'un jour, la police l'arrête et le ramène chez lui. Un soir, une bibliothécaire va lui prêter un livre aux pages vierges avec la couverture scellée. Dès lors d'étranges phénomènes vont se produire et son pendentif va se mettre à briller en présence du fameux livre. Timothée va se faire enlevé par une drôle d'organisation voulant à tout prix découvrir le secret de ce fameux livre. Ce livre à en son intérieur les coordonnées pour se rendre à Ivaldia, un monde sur trois niveaux où un Pilier est au centre. Les Ivaldiens ont un principe majeur : le sel qui régit leur vie. On se pose pas mal de questions pourquoi Timothée à t'il le droit d'y aller? Où se trouve son père?

J'ai adoré ce livre rempli d'intrigues, de suspens, de rebondissements, avec une histoire prenante, captivante, des personnages très attachant. Hâte de découvrir la suite.

Si vous aimez la science-fiction, la fantasy ou le lecteur se pose pas mal de questions sur la société, l'écologie, tout en recherchant un sens à la vie c'est ce livre qu'il faut lire.

Timothy lives in a high-tech megalopolis with his stepfather and mother. He is a model student at Prima University, but he dreams of the great outdoors. Passionate about solar windsurfing like his missing father, he runs around the streets of his neighborhood, until the day he is arrested by the city's elite police who take him home. One evening, the librarian lends Timothy a book with blank pages and a sealed cover. As strange things happen and his pendant begins to glow near the book, Timothy is kidnapped by a mysterious organization determined to unlock the book's secret. The book contains coordinates that allow the worthy to travel to Ivaldia, a world built on three levels supported by the Pillar at its center. A major and mysterious principle governs the life of the Ivaldians: Salt. What is Ivaldia? Why is Timothy allowed to go there? Where is his father? The Separated of Ivaldia is a science-fiction and fantasy epic that addresses many social issues such as ecology, gender issues, discrimination, the search for a meaning to one's life, and the mourning of childhood.

We find Timothy living in a megalopolis where technology is at its peak. He lives with his stepfather and his mother. He studies at the university of Prima, he is passionate like his father disappeared of solar windsurfing where he makes it in the streets, except that one day, the police arrests him and brings him home. One evening, a librarian will lend him a book with blank pages and a sealed cover. From then on, strange phenomena will occur and his pendant will start to glow in the presence of the famous book. Timothy is going to be kidnapped by a strange organization wanting to discover the secret of this famous book at all costs. This book contains the coordinates to go to Ivaldia, a world on three levels where a Pillar is at the center. The Ivaldians have a major principle: the salt which governs their life. We ask ourselves many questions: why does Timothy have the right to go there? Where is his father?
I loved this book full of intrigue, suspense, twists and turns, with a gripping story, captivating, very endearing characters. Can't wait to discover the sequel.
If you like science fiction, fantasy or the reader asks himself a lot of questions about society, ecology, while looking for a meaning to life, this is the book to read.
