Cette série est une fiction, inspirée de faits réels.

Pascal Marmet, a novelist in his fifties and the author of award-winning historical novels, has been living in Cagnes sur Mer since 2016, where he is writing a detective series with a recurring hero, Commander François Chanel, who works at the 36, quai des Orfèvres in Paris. This series is a fiction, inspired by real facts.

I would like to thank the author who contacted me on the Simply Pro site to read this real favorite, from the start I was immediately drawn into the story, the characters and of course the author's pen so addictive.
What a pleasure to read my first book from M+ Editions which is based on real facts, which I love in this kind of books.
It's panic at 36 Quai des Orfèvres where a famous lawyer is found dead in the basement of the courthouse.
We will find Commander Chanel who will investigate this case under the orders of the famous chief divisional Mademoiselle Maigret. It turns out that this lawyer had a penchant for Madame Bovary. And a woman with terrorist tendencies enters the story. Chanel and her team will have to investigate with a morphopsychologist and a gifted trainee and a strange character struck by lightning.
What I liked about reading this book:
- the action, the suspense, the twists and turns,
- the characters so endearing,
- the author's pen so addictive.
If you like this kind of book with police investigations inspired by real facts, this is the book to read.
