Brice Nadin est né en 1967 à Saint-Germain-en-Laye et réside à Saint-Leu-la-Forêt où il se consacre à l'écriture. Directeur commercial, consultant en nouvelles technologies et entrepreneur, il a eu d'autres vies avant de devenir romancier.
Passionné du Moyen Âge et d'ésotérisme, il publie son premier ouvrage, Les étoiles d'Orion, Cluny 1095, en autoédition en septembre 2019. Porté par une atmosphère médiévale fidèlement reconstituée et mâtinée d'une touche de fantastique, le roman séduit très vite plus de 4 000 lecteurs par un bouche-à-oreille efficace. Il est désormais "coup de cœur" dans de nombreuses librairies en France.

Je tiens à remercier l'auteur qui m'a contacté sur Instagram pour lire ce livre que j'ai adoré, il me faisait de l’œil depuis un moment et c'était l'occasion pour me plonger dans l'histoire remplie de suspens et de rebondissements et de découvrir la plume de l'auteur si addictive.
L'histoire se déroule en 1095 plus précisément en Bourgogne pendant la première croisade. On y retrouve Joachim de Saint-Ange, un jeune moine copiste qui fait parti du prieuré de Beaulieu à la fameuse Abbaye de Cluny.
Son rêve, voyager, parcourir le monde et accompagner son maître Odon pour trouver des anciens manuscrits.
Entre l'Abbaye chrétienne aux fameuses geôles de Mâcon, il va se retrouver entre l'amour envers une fille du seigneur et une opération armée des plus importantes de son temps.
Réussira t'il à fuir sa destinée? Y arrivera t'il?
Dès le départ j'ai été emporté dans l'histoire si prenante, captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. J'attend de lire la suite avec impatience.
Si vous aimez ce genre de livre avec un mélange de suspens, d'histoire c'est ce livre qu'il faut lire.

Brice Nadin was born in 1967 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and lives in Saint-Leu-la-Forêt where he devotes himself to writing. Commercial director, consultant in new technologies and entrepreneur, he had other lives before becoming a novelist.
Passionate about the Middle Ages and esotericism, he is publishing his first book, Les étoiles d'Orion, Cluny 1095, in self-publishing in September 2019. Carried by a medieval atmosphere faithfully reconstituted and mixed with a touch of fantasy, the novel very quickly seduced more than 4,000 readers by an effective word-of-mouth. It is now "coup de coeur" in many bookstores in France.

My review :
I would like to thank the author who contacted me on Instagram to read this book that I loved, it had been on my mind for a while and it was an opportunity to dive into the story filled with suspense and twists and to discover the author's pen so addictive.
The story takes place in 1095 more precisely in Burgundy during the first crusade. We find Joachim de Saint-Ange, a young copyist monk who is part of the priory of Beaulieu at the famous Abbey of Cluny.
His dream is to travel the world and accompany his master Odon to find ancient manuscripts.
Between the Christian Abbey and the famous jails of Macon, he will find himself between love for a daughter of the lord and one of the most important armed operations of his time.
Will he succeed in escaping his destiny? Will he succeed?
From the beginning I was carried away in the story so gripping, captivating, addictive, filled with suspense and twists with very endearing characters. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.
If you like this kind of book with a mix of suspense, history this is the book to read.
