Après une enfance heureuse passée à parcourir avec voracité les rayons de la librairie familiale, Le Lutrin à Bayeux, et la campagne normande, je me suis investie quelques années auprès d’adolescents cabossés, au parcours chaotique, en rupture.

Diplômée en biologie et géologie, violoniste et pianiste, l’écriture m’a toujours accompagnée, m’offrant un langage essentiel avec la peinture.

Mère de 2 enfants, je vis en Normandie.

Mes amitiés, rencontres et voyages m'offrent l'opportunité de creuser au scalpel les âmes qui se confient naturellement et nourrissent mon questionnement sur la nature humaine.

A few words about the author :

After a happy childhood spent voraciously browsing the shelves of my family's bookstore, Le Lutrin in Bayeux, and the Normandy countryside, I spent a few years working with teenagers who were in trouble, with chaotic backgrounds, and who had broken away.

With a degree in biology and geology, violinist and pianist, writing has always accompanied me, offering me an essential language with painting.

Mother of 2 children, I live in Normandy.

My friendships, encounters and travels offer me the opportunity to dig with a scalpel into the souls that naturally confide in me and feed my questioning of human nature.

On y retrouve quatre amis : Louise, Jean, Marie & Antoine deux couples frappés par la brutalité de la seconde guerre mondiale. Tout va basculer lorsque l'un d'eux va disparaitre et bien plus lors de la Libération.

Quand un cinquante ans plus tard, Victor un biologiste marin très connu décide de partir à la recherche de ses racines. Abandonné à la naissance et comme cent mille autres enfants il est placé en Suisse. Réussira t'il à en apprendre plus sur ses origines?

Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si prenante, émouvante à certains passages, captivante, addictive, remplie d'intrigues, de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. J'adore la plume de l'auteure si addictive.

Fifty years later, Victor, a well-known marine biologist, decides to go in search of his roots. Abandoned at birth and like a hundred thousand other children, he is placed in Switzerland. Will he succeed in learning more about his origins?

I read this book in one go because I was immediately hooked on the story, which is so gripping, moving at times, captivating, addictive, full of intrigue, suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters. I love the author's writing which is so addictive.
