Mon avis :

Je tiens particulièrement à remercier l'auteure et le site Booksprout de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.

J'ai de suite été attiré par la couverture de ce livre Ezri ressemble à Holly Marie Combs.

On apprend qu'Ezri à affaire à une ancienne prophétie imprégnée de magie noire et que pour protéger le monde et accomplir son destin elle devait réconcilier son passé pour sauver l'avenir.

Ezri détective de police à Boston veut se concentrée à fond sur son travail et résoudre l'enquête sur le meurtre de sa mère. Dès son plus jeune âge on n'arrête pas de lui répéter qu'elle est le sauveur prophétique de sa communauté magique. Sauf que peu de temps avant l'équinoxe de printemps l'ordre de Samael n'arrête pas de travailler pour se débarrasser de démons druidiques. La vie entière est menacée. Et Ezri quant à elle pourchasse un tueur en série fantôme dont l'identité inconnue déroute la police. Va t'elle arrêter ce fantôme sans montrer ses pouvoirs? Va t'elle résoudre le meurtre de sa mère?

L'équinoxe approche à grands pas, doit tout faire pour être le Sauveur.

Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants.

I was immediately drawn to the cover of this book Ezri looks like Holly Marie Combs.

We learn that Ezri is dealing with an ancient prophecy imbued with black magic and that in order to protect the world and fulfill her destiny she had to reconcile her past to save the future.

Ezri, a Boston police detective, wants to focus on his job and solve the investigation into his mother's murder. From an early age she is told over and over that she is the prophetic savior of her magical community. Except that shortly before the spring equinox the order of Samael does not stop working to get rid of druidic demons. His whole life is threatened. And Ezri, for her part, is chasing a ghostly serial killer whose unknown identity baffles the police. Is she going to stop this ghost without showing her powers? Will she solve her mother's murder?

The equinox is fast approaching, must do everything to be the Savior.

A book read in one go, so much so that I've hung on to the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters.
