Mon avis :

Je tiens particulièrement à remercier les éditions One more chapter et le site Netgalley pour ce partenariat.

J'ai de suite été attiré par la couverture de ce livre, au premier plan on y voit une chaussure rouge par terre et au second plan dans le flou comme une forêt.

On apprend dès le départ que la petite Lily a disparu, elle a été enlevée. La dernière fois qu'elle a été vue c'était dans sa chambre. Le lendemain elle n'est plus là, seul son jouet effrayant un lapin se trouve dans son lit. Ellie James qui enquête pense que les parents se battent pour avoir la garde de l'enfant. Sauf qu'elle va découvrir que les jouets n'ont jamais servi ni les vêtements. A se demander si la petite fille existe vraiment.

Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'adore ce genre de thriller aussi captivant, émouvant, addictif, rempli de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants.

I was immediately attracted by the cover of this book, in the foreground there is a red shoe on the ground and in the background in the blur like a forest.

We learn from the start that little Lily is missing, she has been kidnapped. The last time she was seen was in her room. The next day she is no longer there, only her scary rabbit toy is in her bed. Ellie James who is investigating thinks the parents are fighting for custody of the child. Except she's about to find out that the toys were never used and the clothes were never used. Wondering if the little girl really exists.

A book read in one go, so much I love this kind of thriller as captivating, moving, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters.
