Je tiens particulièrement à remercier les éditions Presses de la cité et le site Netgalley pour ce partenariat.

Ce livre est mon premier livre de lu de cette auteure qui à une plume addictive, j'ai hâte de lire son autre livre "Le couple d'à côté" tellement j'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si émouvante, captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements.

On y retrouve Karen et Tom mariés depuis deux ans, vivant dans un pavillon coquet avec pleins de projets d'avenir. Quand un soir lorsqu'il rentre chez eux il s'aperçoit que sa femme a disparue, la police arrive peu de temps après pour lui annoncer qu'elle à eu un accident de voiture dans un quartier où jamais elle n'irait.

Lors de son réveil, Karen à tout oublié, elle va rentrer chez elle en convalescence. Elle va vouloir reprendre là où sa vie s'était arrêter avant ce fameux accident. Sauf qu'elle pense que quelqu'un rentre chez eux lorsqu'ils ne sont pas là.

Je recommande ce livre qui m'a tenu en haleine du début à la fin.

This book is my first book of reading of this author who has an addictive feather, I can't wait to read her other book "Le couple d'à côté" (The couple next door) so much I immediately hooked on the story so moving, captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists.

It features Karen and Tom who have been married for two years, living in a charming lodge with lots of plans for the future. When one evening when he returns home he finds his wife missing, the police arrive shortly afterwards to tell him that she has been in a car accident in a neighborhood where she would never go.

When he wakes up, Karen has forgotten everything, she will go home to convalesce. She will want to resume where her life had stopped before this famous accident. Except she thinks someone is going home when they're not there.

I recommend this book that has kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
