Tout commence lorsqu'une jeune femme attend son fiancé à Petsamo au nord de la Finlande. Ils doivent rentrer en Islande sur le paquebot Esja pour échapper à la guerre. Sauf qu'il ne vient pas. En 1943, les alliés se trouvent à Reykjavik lorsqu'un corps est rejeté par la mer. Un homme se fait agresser sauvagement pas très loin d'un bar à soldats et une femme disparaît. Les inspecteurs Flovent et Thorson enquêtent sur ces trois affaires.

Un deuxième livre addictif, captivant, plein de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages toujours aussi attachants. Hâte de terminer cette trilogie.

In 1943, the Allies are in Reykjavik when a body is washed up in the sea. A man is savagely assaulted not far from a soldiers' bar and a woman disappears. Inspectors Flovent and Thorson investigate these three cases.

A second addictive, captivating book, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters as endearing as ever. Can't wait to finish this trilogy.
