Née dans le Sud-Ouest de la France, Rose a été fille unique et loin de sa région natale de nombreuses années, ce qui l’a amenée à passer beaucoup de temps à s’inventer des histoires, à s’en faire raconter mais aussi à créer toutes sortes de choses.

Adolescente, on l’a fortement incitée à lire, écrire et à faire des dictées pour palier à des difficultés avec l’écriture et l’orthographe. Ce qui aurait pu la rebuter l’a plutôt rendue accro et elle cachait ses romans sous la table pour lire au lieu de faire ses devoirs.

Incapable de vivre sans musique – elle a d’ailleurs longtemps pratiqué la batterie et le Txistu, un instrument régional –, elle ne peut pas passer une journée sans écouter Blink 182, Phil Collins, Thirty Second To Mars, Ska- P et beaucoup d’autres encore.

Attachée à sa région et à sa famille (surtout à ses deux petites sœurs), elle n’en est pas moins ouverte d’esprit et aime découvrir de nouvelles choses. Elle s’intéresse entre autres à la culture indienne.

Touche à tout, elle occupe son temps libre à lire, créer des bijoux, tenir son blog, cuisiner, mais surtout à écrire. Elle s’est adonnée en premier à la poésie, qui lui permettait d’exprimer ses sentiments de jeune fille timide. Elle n’a jamais jeté aucun de ses textes suite aux conseils des parents d’une amie – libraires – et les remercie encore aujourd’hui.

A few words about the author :

Born in the South West of France, Rose was an only child and far from her native region for many years, which led her to spend a lot of time making up stories, getting them told but also creating all sorts of things.

As a teenager, she was strongly encouraged to read, write and do dictations to overcome difficulties with writing and spelling. What might have put her off was more of an addiction and she hid her novels under the table to read instead of doing her homework.

Unable to live without music - she has played the drums for a long time and the Txistu, a regional instrument - she cannot go a day without listening to Blink 182, Phil Collins, Thirty Second To Mars, Ska- P and many others.

While she is attached to her region and her family (especially her two little sisters), she is open-minded and likes to discover new things. Among other things, she is interested in Indian culture.

She is interested in everything, she spends her free time reading, creating jewellery, blogging, cooking, but above all writing. She first devoted herself to poetry, which allowed her to express her feelings as a shy young girl. She never threw away any of her texts following the advice of a friend's parents - booksellers - and still thanks them today.

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Something Else Editions et le site Netgalley pour ce partenariat qui à été un vrai coup de cœur.

Au départ je ne m'attendais pas à ce type d'histoire, plus j'ai avancé dans le livre plus j'ai accroché à l'histoire si émouvante, captivante, addictive avec du suspens et pleins de rebondissements et surtout des personnages attachants.

Tout commence lorsqu'un soir en sortant son chien Callie tombe sur Gabin un ange qui est tombé du ciel et non ce n'est pas une blague mais la vérité. Étant à moitié nu, elle va le faire venir chez elle. Elle ne sais pas pourquoi son instinct lui demande de faire confiance à cet Ange. Au départ elle ne sais pas que Gabin en est un. Harcelée par son ex elle va tout faire pour l'oublier et s'attacher de plus en plus à Gabin qui un beau jour la mettra au courant sur ce qu'il est et pourquoi il est là.

Une très belle histoire d'amour entre un ange et une jeune fille qui donne des frissons tellement on a envie de se retrouver à leur place.

At the beginning I didn't expect this kind of story, the more I progressed in the book the more I hooked on the story so moving, captivating, addictive with suspense and full of twists and turns and especially endearing characters.

It all starts when one night while taking her dog Callie out for a walk, she comes across Gabin, an angel who has fallen from heaven, and this is not a joke but the truth. Being half naked, she is going to bring him to her house. She doesn't know why her instincts tell her to trust this Angel. At first she doesn't know that Gabin is one. Harassed by her ex she will do everything to forget him and become more and more attached to Gabin who one day will tell her what he is and why he is here.

A very beautiful love story between an angel and a young girl who gives shivers so much we want to find ourselves in their place.
