Oxanna HOPE est née à Neuilly sur Seine (92) puis a vécu dans de nombreuses villes avant de, finalement, retourner à l'âge de 14 ans dans la région qui l'a vu naître.

Là, elle y entame des études de secrétariat avant de se tourner vers une de ses passions : l'équitation et d'en faire un métier. Elle exercera par la suite celui d'enseignante de la conduite.
Son autre passion : l'écriture, elle l'a découvre en commençant à rédiger des scénarios de ses séries télévisées favorites. A quinze ans, elle se prend à rêver que son futur métier sera celui d'auteur. Plus qu'un désir, c'est pour elle une nécessité de s'exprimer par le biais des mots.

A few words about the author :

Oxanna HOPE was born in Neuilly sur Seine (92) and lived in many towns before finally returning at the age of 14 to the region where she was born.

There, she began secretarial studies before turning to one of her passions: horse riding and making a career out of it. She later became a driving instructor.
Her other passion: writing, she discovered when she started writing scripts for her favourite television series. At the age of fifteen, she started dreaming that her future profession would be that of an author. More than a desire, it is for her a necessity to express herself through words.

Krista, jeune Aryenne, travaille dans un Lebensborn. Elle a été élevée dans le moule de la race pure et ne connaît que ce mode de vie, jusqu'au jour où elle suit malgré elle une femme dans les égouts de la ville. Mon avis :

Étant un grand fan de dystopie il me devait de commencer cette trilogie, je n'ai pas été déçu du tout par ma lecture du premier livre.

L'histoire se déroule quasi deux cent ans après la victoire d'Hitler, Germania était un mythe. On y apprend que la race aryenne domine le monde et que les autres sont éradiqués depuis bien longtemps. Krysta aryenne de pure race travaille dans une maternité, jusqu'au jour où elle suit une jeune femme dans les égouts de la ville. Ce qu'elle va y découvrir va dépasser tout ce à quoi elle s'imaginait.

Un premier livre lu quasi d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si émouvante, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. Tellement hâte de lire la suite.

My mind :

Being a big fan of dystopia he owed it to me to start this trilogy, I wasn't disappointed at all by my reading of the first book.

The story takes place almost two hundred years after Hitler's victory, Germania was a myth. We learn that the Aryan race dominates the world and that the others have long since been eradicated. Krysta, a pure-bred Aryan, works in a maternity hospital until one day she follows a young woman into the city sewers. What she discovers there will be more than she ever imagined.

A first book read almost in one go, so much so that I hooked on to the story, so moving, captivating, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. So eager to read the next book.
