My mind :

I have less appreciated this book compared to the previous one. We find pink that is in pursuit of a Mesopotamian demon who is at the origin of the storm of the century. Rose and her friend Preston are looking for her long lost love, Lorelei Traube, the alchemist responsible for the invention of the Crucible process. I'm starting Volume 2 now in partnership.

Quittant Gilchrist Manor initie une aventure qui traverse le globe dans un ancien dirigeable piloté par le célèbre Vanderbilt, Valkyrie Reidun Falk, avec arrêts à Berlin, Constantinople et Königsberg. Rose et son ami Preston recherchent son amour perdu depuis longtemps, Lorelei Traube, l'alchimiste responsable de l'invention du processus du Crucible. Le long du chemin, leurs chemins se croisent avec des personnages historiques réels - Sir James Maxwell et Thomas Edison, ainsi que des créatures mythologiques et des personnages.

Heureusement que Rose est venue en tant que commandos prussiens, et un ancien ordre de sorciers essaie tous de mettre la main sur Lorelei. Quand la vérité éclate sur le mystérieux projet de Lorelei et sur ce qui en est vraiment au cœur, Rose a besoin de sa collection de gadgets et de pouvoirs surnaturels avec l'ancienne sagesse de l'alter ego Azul de Preston pour sauver l'humanité.

Asseyez-vous et profitez d'un thriller surnaturel dans une histoire de Steampunk alternative crédible, mais fantastique. Après la préquelle, The Alchemists est le premier livre de la série Guild Chronicles.

Mon avis :

J'ai moins bien apprécié ce livre la par rapport au précédent. On y retrouve rose qui est a la poursuite d'un démon mésopotamien qui est a l'origine de la tempête du siècle. Rose et son ami Preston recherchent son amour perdu depuis longtemps, Lorelei Traube, l'alchimiste responsable de l'invention du processus du Crucible. Je commence le tome 2 maintenant en partenariat.​​​​​​
