Peter James né en 1948 à Brighton (Grande-Bretagne), est scénariste et producteur, et surtout l'auteur de thrillers à succès dont Comme une tombe et Mort imminente. Il est traduit dans vingt-neuf langues et a reçu le prix Polar International 2006 du salon de Cognac et le prix Coeur Noir 2007.

Peter James was born in 1948 in Brighton, UK, and is a screenwriter and producer, most notably the author of successful thrillers including Comme une tomb and Death imminent. It is translated into twenty-nine languages and has received the 2006 Polar International Prize from the Cognac show and the Prix Coeur Noir 2007.

Synopsis :

Les rêves peuvent-ils tuer ? La dernière fois que Sam a fait un tel rêve, elle avait sept ans... et cette nuit-là, ses parents sont morts. Vingt-cinq ans plus tard, les cauchemars de Sam sont de retour, et ils se réalisent de nouveau : viols, meurtres, accidents horribles... Elle est prête à tout pour qu'ils cessent. Mais psychiatres et médiums n'arrivent pas à l'aider. Personne ne croit à son histoire. Sam ne sait pas ce qui lui arrive : hallucinations, prémonitions, réincarnations ? Mon avis :

Encore un livre de cet auteur que j'ai adoré. La couverture de ce livre représente l'intérieur d'un avion. L'intrigue est basée sur les rêves prémonitoires de Sam, elle rêve et ils se réalisent à peux près comme dans ceux-ci. Elle va chercher  savoir pourquoi ça lui arrive à elle tout en essayant de protéger sa famille. L'auteur fais durer le suspens du début à la fin. Hâte de lire un autre livre de PETER JAMES.

My mind :

Another book by this author that I loved. The cover of this book represents the interior of an airplane. The plot is based on the premonitory dreams of Sam, she dreams and they are realized almost as in these. She goes to find out why it happens to her while trying to protect her family. The author makes the suspense last from beginning to end. Looking forward to reading another book from PETER JAMES.
